StringWorkshop

About.
Taking place July 20-24, 2026 from 9am-3pm, Riverwalk is a week-long experience for string players aged 12-18 to hone their skills as musicians at the 577 Foundation in Perrysburg, OH.
Highlights of our program include daily string orchestra, introduction to composing, improvisation class, playing music with dancers, and so much more. Riverwalk is a unique program for the next generation of musicians, where students engage in deep learning and immersion in the arts. It is designed to provide excellent instruction in string playing from world-class musicians, and education from the Toledo Mindfulness Institute, which will present classes on improving focus and performing with confidence.
This is a special opportunity for student musicians to improve their playing, get inspired, and make friends in a holistic, and exciting environment - surrounded by friendly peers and a faculty that is exceptional and dedicated to student success.

Meet Our
Founder: "From Student to Teacher"
"If you look real closely at that photo you'll see a little kid with a bucket hat. That's me! I remember what it felt like to be there for my first time diving deep into music. Feeling seen by instructors who cared about my playing and beyond that - they cared about me as a person. The world I was in was magical because of the sense of wonder that I felt.
I can also imagine the wonder that my instructors must have felt when they watched my friends and I blossom into better musicians and be more of who we are. Now fifteen years later, I know what it feels like to be the teacher.
There aren't enough magical places in the world, so I'm making my own. I want Riverwalk to be a place of discovery, innovative teaching, and growth. I want this to be here for people to find something that they can hold on to forever.
I want to show what I've learned:
Music has the power to move mountains, and the ability to open doors to magical worlds."
